System Tune-Ups

Professional preventive maintenance is strongly recommended annually for all heating systems.  Maintaining and adjusting your oil burner and propane heating systems will help save over 10% on heating costs and add years to life expectancy to this expensive equipment.  This service tests and adjusts your oil burner for maximum efficiency using precision equipment.

Oil-Fired system Tune-Up includes:

1. Replace nozzle

2. Replace fuel filter

3. Clean nozzle assembly

4. Lubricate motor bearings

5. Check all burner controls

6. Adjust ignition system

7. Test fire the burner

Propane system Tune-Up includes:

1. Pressure testing appliance

2. Test and replace (if needed) thermocouple and pilot orifices

3. Check ignition system

4. Adjust ignition system

5. Test fire propane burner

Our service plans cover parts listed below and labor costs for repair or replacement.  Our master technicians will be there for 24-Hour Emergency Service.

R.H. Foster Energy will provide Premier and Traditional Service Contract Customers with dependable and prompt emergency service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no additional cost.*

All heating plans are subject to details specified by contract.  All plans require initial inspection.  Heating system must meet current local and state codes.

TankSure Program

With the current high cost of oil it is now more important than ever to maintain your heating equipment, especially your oil fuel tank.  We strongly recommend you take advantage of our TankSure Program! Our TankSure Program was developed for our customers with a commitment to the environment in mind.

Monitoring & Inspection
Our trained service professionals will use state of the art ultrasonic equipment to test your tank.  The ultrasonic equipment uses the same fundamentals as a medical ultrasound to measure the thickness of your tank.  From these measurements we are able to determine when your tank should be replaced.

$1,000 Proactive Tank Replacement Warranty
Your tank’s thickness measurements, physical characteristics and surrounding environment will be analyzed with our Tank Profiling Software to determine if it needs to be replaced.  In the future if your tank needs replacement, the warranty will cover up to $1,000 towards the replacement.

Scientific Analysis & Monitoring
Your tank’s thickness measurements, physical characteristics and surrounding environment will be analyzed with our state-of-the-art Tank Profiling Software.  Tank information is analyzed for proactive replacement of individual tanks when they fall below the standard index.
