Did you know that 8% of Maine’s adult population is made up of veterans? We have one of the highest percentages by population in the country, more than much larger states like Texas, Florida and California.
The R. H. Foster family is grateful for all that veterans have done for our country and honored to support these incredible heroes. While many people simply say, “Thank you for your service,” we put that sentiment into action.
One way we do that is by supporting the Maine Veterans Project (MVP), which has been proudly serving Maine’s veteran community since July 2015, with one clear mission: to help reduce veteran suicide in our state.
The MVP is deeply committed to looking for new ways to meet the unique needs of our veterans. Through improving current programs and creating innovative solutions, the MVP is making a difference with compassion, integrity and a heart full of gratitude.
