Implements, directs and assists with auditing store operations, resetting projects and promotional activities for the marketing of convenience stores products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Executes the company's marketing strategies and objectives by resetting store merchandise.
Makes recommendations for alterations or changes to OTR plan-o-grams.
Audits merchandise integrity by: verifying tag accuracy; maintaining, changing and updating inventory tags; auditing product sets and promotional materials.
Trains c-store employees on systems and procedures with product set, tag merchandising and store cleanliness.
Instructs and educates C-Store Facility Managers on the proper displays and products sets and marketing expectations.
Provides input for C-Store Facility Manager’s performance reviews as it relates to marketing, product merchandising, displays and product sets and store cleanliness.
Conducts site cleanliness inspections by visual audits. Walks site with Facility Manager providing direction for action plans in addressing deficiencies.
Directly holds vendor accountable for service levels ensuring service, displays, products, inventory levels exceed expectations and minimize inconsistency.
Inspects customer service levels to include auditing: check out times; snack bar quality, quantity and cleanliness; inventory levels and stock outs.
Delivers "outstanding" customers service by assisting customers upon request.
Ensures the integrity of monthly P.O.P. meet the company's Marketing planner and Exxon Mobil’s Promo waves, coaches Facility Managers on inconsistencies and plans to rectify.
Ensures Red Zone integrity is intact to include: promotional baskets, floor displays and ensuring end caps meet the monthly promotional plan.
Regularly conducts competitor price shops, with the goal of protecting company’s sales and customer counts. Makes recommendations and works with Market Manager based on competitor pricing ensuring company positioning is competitive.
Audits register pricing against tag pricing, and works with Pricebook Supervisor ensuring pricing downloads are completed and accurate.
Periodically may supervises and direct teams of up to eight people in store resets and conversions.
Trains standard operating procedures (SOP) to store managers to include: merchandising, housekeeping, customer service and promotional marketing.
Travels to company locations through out company footprint as deemed necessary.
Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or at least three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Possess computer skills to include use of Microsoft Office software.
