Customer Service Representative
R.H. Foster Energy is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Hampden Energy Services office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Greets customers and/or visitors and directs to the appropriate person or department.
Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for installation, discontinuance, or change in service.
Sets up and maintains current information in the customer master file.
Receives, screens credit, and logs product orders for dispatch.
Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders.
Cashes up the register and truck drivers and prepares bank deposits.
Posts sales and payments to customer accounts.
Solicits sale of new or additional services.
Researches any problems relative to customer accounts receivable.
Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
Provides back-up for the switchboard, dispatch and service department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
