The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with and support our Directors and Operations teams to increase brand awareness by creating media campaigns, advertisements, spotlights, and other electronic and print media for our social media platforms, tradeshows, physical locations, and websites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

·Work with Directors and Operations Teams over various departments to develop communications and create marketing campaigns

·Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives

·Develop digital and print communications and brand campaigns, both external and internal

·Develop, write, and edit creative and technical content across different marketing mediums

·Develop content and marketing materials that follow company brand guidelines for tradeshows, conventions, and other events

·Develop content for social media platforms and other company websites

·Develop and managing content placement schedules for new digital media and scheduled programs

·Retain and manage company’s media and advertising library

·Manage company websites

·Utilize digital media and social media to increase brand awareness

·Collaborate with Marketing Team on content for the company’s social media channels that follow the vendor’s policies as well as the company’s best practices

·Audit and manage brand consistency across all digital platforms.

·Analyze and report on performance and efficiency data to Executive Team for implemented campaigns

·Stay current on media trends, marketing trends, and technology through Education and/or Experience

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information science and/or minoring in digital media, studio/digital art, marketing, or a related field and a minimum of two years in the digital media and/or marketing field.

We also encourage candidates with an associate degree or accreditation from a college or technical school in similar fields with three years in the digital media and/or marketing field to apply.

Marketing Media Skills

·Advanced or expert level experience with web analytic tools, web design, and content management.

·Advanced or expert proficiency with applications in the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, etc.

·Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.

·Preferred but not required is knowledge of web programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

·Expert familiarity with social media platforms and utilization of advertising services.

·Knowledge of current digital media trends and ability to research upcoming trends.
