CDL Class B Oil/Propane Delivery Drivers - Ellsworth

We are seeking delivery drivers to drive gasoline, diesel or propane powered truck to transport and deliver propane or oil for our Ellsworth Energy Services branch.

Responsibilities:

  • Loads, transports and delivers propane in accordance with dispatcher instructions to meet customer requirements. Ensures the delivery to the correct tank.

  • Practices defensive driving, and always operates in a safe, responsible manner in compliance with all State and Federal standards and regulations, and company policies.

  • Assures that all required commercial licensing and medical certification is maintained.

  • Reports all accidents and/or incidents to the immediate supervisor by the quickest possible means.

  • Ensures excellent customer service by consistently maintaining a courteous and professional manner.

  • Is always dressed in the appropriate company uniform.

  • Follows all dispatcher delivery instructions, including but not limited to, collecting from customers.

  • Completes a daily truck report.

  • Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition to the dispatcher.

  • Maintains driver log according to regulations if necessary.

Must possess a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with (X) Endorsement with a clean driving history. Must be certified by the Company in each of the following areas:

  • (A) Basic Propane Principles and Practices

  • (B) Propane Distribution Systems (Delivery)

  • (C) Drug and Alcohol Education

  • (D) HazMat-126F

  • Must also be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse (register at https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/register )
